Blessing Hospital is a 307-bed acute-care hospital in Quincy, Illinois. A not-for-profit, non-tax supported, independent hospital, Blessing is committed to providing compassionate, high-quality care using advanced technology in state-of-the art, comfortable facilities. The hospital is fully accredited by DNV-GL Healthcare.
Blessing Physician Services, established in 2005 as part of the Blessing Health System, is a multi-specialty practice group consisting of over 100 providers, clinical and clerical staff who serve residents of western Illinois, northeastern Missouri and southeastern Iowa. Blessing Physician Services operates medical offices in Quincy as well as rural clinics in surrounding areas to best meet the needs of our many patients.
Blessing Hospital and Blessing Physician Services are continuously growing, expanding services, upgrading equipment, and building ultramodern facilities. In 2021 the system will open a leading edge 80,000 square foot stand alone medical office building. By 2022 Blessing with be the home of a brand new 36,000 square foot ambulatory surgery treatment center.
In 2018, the health system expanded further into Missouri when Hannibal Clinic joined Blessing Health System. Hannibal Clinic is a multi-specialty outpatient facility with more than 50 physicians practicing in 21 specialties. Hannibal Clinic partners with local and regional health care organizations, creating an ever expanding base of partnerships and care opportunities for physicians and patients. Hannibal has an expanding and diverse local economy that provides the Clinic with a good payer mix and no HMO presence.
Hannibal Clinic is home to a thriving in-house Ambulatory Surgery Center performing over 4,500 procedures each year. The medical campus also includes James E. Cary Cancer Center, Midwest Orthopedic Specialists, The Hannibal Children’s Center, and an eye surgery clinic.
