We are actively seeking a physician board certified in Pediatrics to join us in our mission to advance the treatment of food allergies. Founded in 2015 by Dr. Inderpal Randhawa, The Southern California Food Allergy Institute (SCFAI) is a cutting-edge clinical care and research center that is revolutionizing food allergy treatment. We are dedicated to providing innovative and safe treatment for the 6 million children in the United States who suffer from food allergies. Our mission is simple, to offers secure, sustainable and successful treatment for all children to safely eat whatever they want without restriction.
SCFAI is the largest food allergy treatment center in the world housed in a cutting edge environment. Our footprint of 70,000+ square feet houses a clinical care center, food lab and protein processing center, and a translational science research laboratory. SCFAI has successfully treated 10,000+ patients with food anaphylaxis achieving a 99% treatment success rate to date. SCFAI is built on safety, efficacy and achieving sustained unresponsiveness. Patients who were once anaphylactic are now able to eat any amount of allergen with dosing cycles occurring once weekly to every two weeks. 15+ years of comprehensive effort under strict regulation has led to the world's 1st sustainable treatment model for food anaphylaxis
SCFAI currently employs 100+ employees, including multiple physicians in the specialties of pediatrics, pulmonary, allergy, emergency medicine, and immunology, as well as mid-level providers, PhD research scientists and a team of administrative and support team members. In the food allergy world, the growth of SCFAI is unique and remarkable reflecting the effectiveness of its treatment approach and the supportive environment fostered by its team of professionals.
SCFAI is looking for a Pediatrician who is willing to join the organization under the mentorship of its founder - Dr. Inderpal Randhawa and Physician Lead Dr. Tracy Clark. The physician will have primarily outpatient clinical responsibilities that can consist of documentation, execution of office visits, chart preparation, prescriptions, orders as well as other administrative duties. An additonal duty will be taking call on a shared rotational basis with other clinical providers as needed. (24-hour calls and weekend coverage). Physicians are expected to be able to answer, triage and escalate questions, concerns and reactions via our phone and email systems.
