Marshfield Medical Center - Rice Lake is seeking a full time BC/BE Hospitalist that is Family Medicine or Internal Medicine trained to join our practice in Northern, Wisconsin! Rice Lake is a modern and progressive 40-bed acute care hospital .

Position Details:

• Shift worker model: 12 hour shifts and also 8 hour shifts as a second physician.

• Scheduling is flexible depending on the local team agreements

  • (i.e. 7 on/7 off, 5days/5nights, etc.)

• Will see between 12-15 patients

• Moonlighting shifts are available

• Census variable - Adult only

• Must perform medical examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnosis and treatment to hospital inpatients assigned through both direct admission and ER referrals

• Directs and coordinates the patient care activities of nursing and support staff as required

• Hospitalist will provide full time inpatient/observation care from admission through discharge for patients in the acute care setting

• Specialty support (nephrology, cardiology, general surgery, ortho, etc.) and consultations through the Marshfield Clinic System

• Opportunity to work with medical students is available and encouraged
