Overview

Seeking a full-time NNP to join our team at Arnot Ogden Medical Center located in Elmira, New York.

• Arnot Ogden Medical Center is a Regional Perinatal Center, servicing an eight-county area.
• NNP will provide 24-hour, in-house coverage, as well as transport call, attend high risk deliveries and assess critically-ill newborns in the NICU.
• Services include conventional ventilation and HFOV. Excellent nursing support, along with a range of pediatric sub-specialty support, are available to our physicians for consults and in-house services.
• 20-bed, Level-III NICU, averaging 1,500 deliveries/year with almost 300 NICU admissions and a daily census between 13-15.
• Approximately 15-20 percent of our admissions are transports from referring hospitals that serve surrounding counties.

Elmira, located in the Chemung River Valley, is at the southern end of New York's largest wine producing region, the Finger Lakes. The city is rich in culture with local theatre productions, modern and classical dance, live music concerts and The National Soaring Museum, which holds the largest collection of sailplanes in the world. Residents enjoy minor league sports and a variety of outdoor activities. Famed author Mark Twain called Elmira his summer home for more than 20 years and penned many of his classics overlooking the picturesque Chemung River Valley!
