| JOIN OUR TEAM! Vera French is looking for an experienced nursing professional to lead our nursing team! Under the supervision of the Medical Director, the Director of Nursing will be responsible for the supervision of the Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioners and the Nurse Manager. They will also provide supervision for the nursing aspects of all Vera French nursing providers, as well as the maintenance of quality patient care in compliance with local, state and federal regulations and accreditation standards. WHAT YOU'LL DO: - Develop and manage the Outpatient nursing staff including but not limited to nursing staff at outlying locations.
- Plan and manage programs by working closely with Vera French leadership team and other managers, as appropriate, to ensure that nursing program and ancillary meet requirement.
- Assist in providing Quality Management direction and oversight for nursing and ancillary activities in all programs and other areas; participate in Clinical Quality Management (CQM) and ensure regular monitors are conducted and reported on.
- Assure clinical compliance by participating in development of Medical Policy & Procedure with the Medical Director
WHAT YOU'LL NEED: - Doctorate of Nursing Practice specializing in Behavioral health.
- Clinical license (or qualified to be) in the State of Iowa, three years post licensure.
- Minimum three years experience in direct behavioral health patient acre, preferably in an ambulatory mental health care setting.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and supervisory experience with the ability to lead a team of professional staff.
- Solid critical thinking skills; ability to use data analysis to drive performance improvement, identify problems, draw relevant conclusions, and succeed in devising and implementing appropriate solutions.
