Overlook Medical Center is currently recruiting for a Full time Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner for our Atlantic Urgentcare in Clark, New Jersey.

Essential Job Functions:

• As permitted by training, experience and credentialing perform minor procedures such as suturing of lacerations; incision and drainage; removal of foreign bodies; debridement and packing of wounds; removal of sutures; staples and change dressings; apply and remove splints, immobilizers.
• Administer medications.
• Obtain detailed and accurate history, perform an appropriate physical examination; identify problems, document in the EMR; determine and implement therapeutic plans; provide patient/family counseling and education; referral of patients to appropriate provider.
• Communicate/collaborate effectively with staff, physicians, and the multidisciplinary team in written and verbal forms.
• Act as a resource for the Nursing Team.
• Candidate will have the ability to utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate the plan of care for patients served.
• Through the model of Shared Governance, collaborate with all members of the health care team with a focus on promoting evidenced based care within a healing culture for the patient population served and their families.
• Candidate will demonstrate and embrace the PRIDE core values (Professionalism, Respect, Involvement, Dignity and Excellence) in every aspect of their job.
• Candidate must have excellent communication and computer skills.

Certifications:

• BLS Required
• ACLS Required

Required Experience:

• At Least 5+ of Acute Care Emergency Department or Urgent Care experience as a CRNP Required.

Education:

• BSN Required
• Masteras Degree Required

Required Licenses:

• Valid New Jersey Nursing License (RN and CRNP) Required

Certifications:

• BLS Required
• ACLS Required
