The Psychiatrist provides a broad spectrum of psychiatric treatment and will serve as a collaborative member of a multidisciplinary team in managing an inpatient/outpatient panel. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 08:00AM- 4:30PM; with minimal on call duties Relocation incentive: Not authorized Recruitment incentive: Not authorized Permanent Change of Station(PCS): Not authorized Education Debt Reduction Program(EDRP): Authorized Financial Disclosure Report: Not required The primary duties of the Psychiatrist include: Psychiatric assessment; Psychiatric diagnosis; Psychiatric treatment planning; Participation in Physician Peer Review; Provide supervision to medical students, residents, and physician assistants as assigned; Provides a full range of therapeutic interventions including medication evaluation and management, suicide risk assessments, crisis intervention, and overall care of patients with psychiatric disorders; Orders diagnostic tests and consultations, and discriminates between normal and abnormal findings and makes appropriate treatment decisions; May participate in supervision and teaching in support of the psychiatric residency program, performs on call duties, and performs other directly related duties as assigned; Practice within the scope of assigned privileges; Work effectively with patients, families, staff, coworkers and other health care professionals; Participate in an effective clinical program with attention to patient outcome indicators.
