This position is a full-time at 40 hours per week. The VA Medical Center in Manchester, NH is seeking an experienced psychiatrist for the Manchester, NH - Mental Health Clinic and Somersworth, NH - Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC). Responsibilities include psychiatric evaluation and treatment, consultation with multidisciplinary teams, initiation of mental health and substance abuse treatment as well as development of treatment plans in a variety of settings. Must be available for back-up consultation for Mental Health on-call providers. Primary site of assignment of duties within the Mental Health outpatient clinic. Positions have a key role in a multi-disciplinary team with seasoned and dedicated MH clinicians within specialty Mental Health Clinics.
