The VISN Clinical Resource Hub (CRH) Primary Care Physician position is a VISN based position located in VISN 20. A Clinical Resource Hub (CRH) is a clinical and administrative staff repository that serves Veterans Affairs facilities within a Veterans Integrated System Network (VISN). Staff within the CRH are expected to provide inter-professional services to VISN facilities underserved or experiencing gaps in clinicians due to the inability to match provider supply with demand. Pay: Competitive salary, annual performance bonus, regular salary increases Paid Time Off: 49-54 days of annual paid time offer per year (26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, 10 paid Federal holidays per year and possible 5 day paid absence for CME) Retirement: Traditional federal pension (5 years vesting) and federal 401K with up to 5% in contributions by VA Insurance: Federal health/vision/dental/term life/long-term care (many federal insurance programs can be carried into retirement) Licensure: 1 full and unrestricted license from any US State or territory CME: Possible $1,000 per year reimbursement Malpractice: Free liability protection with tail coverage provided Contract: No Physician Employment Contract and no significant restriction on moonlighting This Primary Care Physician position is under the general supervision of the VISN CRH Associate Director of Primary Care. Primary duties are to provide Primary Care services to a panel of patients at one of the VISN facilities through virtual and in-person as part of an interprofessional primary care team in the VHA Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT) model. The incumbent works as part of a virtual and in-person primary care team and patient site care team members to provide primary care to Veterans. Clinical Video Telehealth (CVT) is the primary modality for treating patients, with 'video into the home' and telephone modalities used for additional care modalities. However, this position may require occasional travel to VISN medical centers or Community Based Outreach Clinics (CBOC). Note: All CRH Primary Care Physicians assigned to a PACT team will be required to travel to the VA Medical Center every 90 days for face-to-face encounters. If hired for locums-type services, in-person care at the patient site will be required for extended periods. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. varies, specific tour TBD (Telework/Remote Eligible)
