The primary purpose of the position is to provide services for Veteran patients in the outpatient and inpatient setting, however services may also be provided in other areas of the medical center as well (i.e., Community Living Center, CBOCs, etc.). The Gastroenterologist may have on-call time and may work off-hour shifts, weekends, and holidays as priorities demonstrate a need.
